Schumacher Joins Mercedes in 2010.

Mercedes GP PETRONAS has revealed that 7-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher is to be it’sMichael-Schumacher-001 second driver in the upcoming season F1 season

Schumacher now 40-years-old will partner with Nico Rosberg, the team is hoping to win both the constructors’ and drivers’ championships for a second season in next year.

Schumacher having competed in Formula One for 15 years before retiring in 2006 brings an emmense experience in his time  in which time he saw 91 victories from 248 starts.

Schumacher commented that he is “hopeful of giving something back to Mercedes-Benz for the support shown during his early days in the Mercedes Junior Programme.”

E Class Coupe Leasing

The E Class has had tough ride of recent years, possibly viewed as out of date and certainly not first choice in the popularity stakes. With the arrival of the coupe version of the car, Mercedes is certainly showing that they can build cars with the appeal that bothMercedes E Class Coupe Audi and BMW have been capable of. Compared with the A5 and now the 5 series Gran Turismo it’s still difficult to make a proper comparison in terms of price, size, design and spec leaving the E Class Coupe a little unique and on it’s own. Is this a bad thing, not really this is exactly where the Audi A5 found itself and it’s seen major success.

With the same trim levels as seen on all other Mercedes models  you know where you are with it when it comes to choosing the car for you and as ever there are an array of additional extra’s that can be added dependent on choice. At this stage in it’s life cycle it’s a particularly good time to look at E Class Coupe Leases, future used values are strong and thus some exciting rentals can be achieved.

C Class most searched for Mercedes Car

mercedes c_class_official

The Mercedes  C Class is topping the ranks of the Mercedes range as the number 1 most searched for Mercedes leasing deal. And it’s not surprising with prices on a 2 year contracts from £329 this really represents luxury car driving for a great value price tag.

Having beaten off the popular Audi A5 and TT and sitting just behind the Volkswagen Golf it makes the C Class the most desirable premium prestige car, saloon car and car in it’s class.

Cheap Mercedes Car Leasing?

There has never been so many Mercedes Benz Contract Hire offers available within the market. A product possibly of these difficult economic times but also maybe recognition of the fact that there is a ready appetite for Mercedes Car Leasing.

Never before have business and personal users been able to enjoy such a plethora of deals. With CLC starting from £279, C Class starting from circa £329 and even ML at £499 onwards.

Is this cheap car leasing? It’s certainly a great way to own a Mercedes Benz and pound for pound they compete with Audi and BMW product. For example, Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series come in at mid £300’s. Audi Q7 and X5 come out at £600 plus. So by contrast this competes head on with the other German luxury car manufacturers.

Mercedes-Benz M-Class (2008-) Review

Channel 4 have a great review of the new Mercedes …. on their site – Here is some of their findings, but you can read the full review on the link below

Overview

Facelift is too strong a word for the revised Mercedes M-Class. The big 4×4 is making do with the mildest of aesthetic revisions and a minor tweak for the V6 diesel models.

The biggest change is that the Sport trim has been set further apart from the SE trim, with more aggressive styling and huge 20" wheels, plenty of shiny metal work and a razor-effect front grille.

Four engines carry over, a 187bhp and 221bhp 3.0-litre V6 diesel, a 302bhp twin turbo V8 diesel and two petrol’s, a 5.5-litre and 6.2-litre V8. The old 3.5-litre V6 has been dropped.

Equipment increase across the range, but so does the price. The SE is now £250 more expensive while the Sport trim rockets by £2,500, but Mercedes says this more than covers the cost of the new kit.

The big ML news comes next year with the arrival of Mercedes’ all-new hybrid power train, but for now is this ‘facelift’ enough in a struggling segment to take the battle to the BMW X5? [more]

Reliability and Quality

Mercedes-Benz has come a long way in recent years to address criticism of its reliability and quality. According to the customer satisfaction surveys, it’s paying off.

It came sixth in the recent JP Power investigation into how happy owners are with their car, making it the highest-ranking German car maker.

Inside, the M-Class impresses with mostly good plastics, although one of our cars creaked over larger bumps and during off-road adventures.

The best way to buy a Mercedes!

We all love to find all those great little ways that the prestige car buyer can get the car that they want for the best money possible. Mercedes is a brand we all know and love and in these modern times where you have Mercedes Car Leasing and plenty of nearly new product alternatives to cash hungry brand new car purchases are a thing of the past.

Put simply you can get a Mercedes CLC from £249.00 plus VAT on a 2 year contract hire. You can find a 9 month old Mercedes E Class in dealer stock that has lost the worst of its depreciation already. But the real gems in our eyes are some of the convertible, coupes and sports cars within the Mercedes range. There is some great 18 to 24 month old Used Mercedes cars out there. Owning a CLK or SLK for example you can pick up with very very low mileage, sub 20000 miles in fact for very sensible money. Well worth looking out for.

In our mind it’s well worth buying a used Mercedes Benz like this, it’s great value and you don’t have the massive cash outlay or have to suffer the depreciative hit in the first 12 months!!
